Music for Piano Trio was adapted from my Music for Four Instruments to participate in the Chamber Music Institute at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The work attempts to blend characteristics of 20th century concert music with tonal practices heard in today's popular music. It premiered on June 23, 2013 at Kimball Recital Hall in Lincoln, Nebraska.
